This is the OG location. There is almost never a wait and they serve exactly the same food as they do at the Temple City location. I was order one of their spring rolls and a bun. Since the bun is really big I usually share that with my boyfriend and it ends up being the perfect amount of food for the both of us. Write when you enter the restaurant, you are immediately greeted and then seated. After a few moments, they will take your order and then bring out your food. I love going to this location because they are fast and their service is quick. I will definitely be back to this location since the Temple City location always has a long wait.
The parking is not too bad here either. I always see a few empty spots when I am here. -

Just moved to the 'dena this year and scouting around for the best vietnamese food in the area so decided to try this place since it was on the way home. This is based on my takeout order (which I highly recommend bc they wrapped my summer rolls in a way that stayed fresh and non soggy to make it back to old town pasadena -- it took about 25 mins that day plus they speak English)
When I asked my cousin where to get the best spring rolls, she said this is where all her friends get them and it's like being in OC. I've been to a bunch of local spots and Brodard's numerous times that I can vouch for this spot's nem nuong rolls. The meat ratio is filling & fresh romaine lettuce!
I ordered their special lemongrass beef combo with the shrimp cake (15) and the special lemongrass chicken plate (15A)-- both were authentic and again, good rice to meat ratio. The only reason I knocked down a star was that we went before prime dinner time around 5 on a Sunday and man that parking lot was close to packed. It's located next to a busy in n out which also has limited parking and I noticed some in n out customers using their parking lot. Wouldn't want to deal with parking during a busy time.
Other than that, I'll be back for the nem nuong role and to try their bun bo hue this winter! -

Summer Rolls never disappoints in quality of food offered. For this specific location, the only drawback is the lack of parking space. Depending on day and time, it can be a bit difficult to find parking.
As far as food, I'd recommend their popular spring rolls and lemon grass chicken rice plate! -

Excellent summer rolls! The beef and pork rolls are delicious. The Ingredients are fresh, the seasoning well balanced and sauces are savory. Overall great tasting summer rolls. Both the pork and beef are delightful, but the beef lemon grass summer roll was my favorite.

Definitely better than Broudard
I can't believe it has less reviews than Broudard. I found out from the locals aka my family that Broudard established their restaurant near here but couldn't compete so they moved to Westminster and that was how they succeeded.
The dipping sauce is so goos! Everything is way better than the famous Broudard! The nem nuong with the skinny crunchy roll in it has shrimp! Yo, you wouldn't find it at Broudard, theirs are empty. They have 3 types of rolls instead of 2 at Broudard
I'm ditching Broudard all together because this will be my favorite nem nuong spot from now on.
